On a prior video, I talked about the new feature to tailor AI-generated text variations to personas. It’s super interesting, and you should try it out.

But I ran into one problem with this feature and Meta’s AI-generated text generally. It didn’t sound like me.

There’s something you can do to address this.

Text Tone

It occurred to me that I spent very little time defining my text tone. Meta recently added a Branding feature when creating ads. You can find it within the Identity section.

Branding

Branding allows you to provide logos, font, and brand colors for use in AI-generated images and backgrounds.

Branding

Most importantly, you can provide up to 300 characters to define your Text Tone.

Branding

It Works!

The Text Tone field acts as an AI prompt that’s used for text generation. One of the issues I had with Meta’s AI-generated text is that it did things I wouldn’t, like use emojis. I updated Text Tone to address this, and that seemed to fix it.

I haven’t had quite as much success getting rid of dashes and “fluff,” but it’s a start.
